The COVID-19 coronavirus continues to spread around the globe while we start to see a growing impact within the Carolinas’ region. As a result, the Carolinas Chapter is paying close attention to guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state, city, and county agencies. We are suspending in person gatherings until the end of April. With this in mind, we have made the necessary changes to the following scheduled events:
- March 26, Speed Networking event has been rescheduled to August 13. Those who have already registered for this event do not need to re-register. Event details will remain the same.
- April 1, Networking event at El Thrifty will be rescheduled. Date TBD.
- April 22, "Selecting an HQ: Charlotte Edition" will be virtual. Details to follow.
We will remain diligent in monitoring the risk of in person events in May, which include our Spring Premier Event in Pinehurst, and will update our CoreNet community accordingly. Please watch for additional information from CoreNet Global regarding the Charlotte Regional Learning Symposium in Charlotte.
The safety of our members, attendees, and host organizations is a top priority and that will guide any decision to bring large gatherings of people together for an event organized by the Chapter. The Board of Directors and our respective Committees will look at opportunities to conduct webinars in the near term in order to continue education and learning opportunities for our membership. Please reach out to email@example.com if have further questions or concerns.
