Thank you to everyone who was able to join the CoreNet Carolinas Chapter on May 8^th – 9^th at the world-renowned Pinehurst Resort for two special days of learning, and industry networking.  The chapter was able to celebrate and exchange ideas related to Corporate Real Estate Technology with over 200 owners, occupiers and subject matter experts at this world-class event.  We heard from Keynote speaker and industry thought leader, Nikki Greenberg, as she provided tangible strategies for dealing with today’s real estate technology challenges while also providing insight as to what is coming in the near future. Keynote Speaker

Nikki Greenberg is an innovation strategist and thought-leader. She helps the real estate industry leaders to reimagine their businesses and spaces, to bring them into alignment with the increasingly digitized way that people live, work and communicate today. She  has held leadership position with Fortune 500's, and most recently served as the Head of Technology Strategy at QIC, an Australian investment manager with $80 Billion AUM. She is the founder of Women in PropTech, and former three-term co-chair of the Technology & Innovation Council for ULI in New York City. Nikki entered the industry through her career as an architect and real estate developer for transformative, multi-award winning, mixed-use residential and retail developments. She is a frequent speaker at leading global conferences, commentator in the press, and recipient of numerous industry awards including being recognized as Top 5 Most Influential Women in Real Estate (2022), Top 25 Commercial Real Estate Innovator (2021), and ULI  Global Luminary (2022).

Breakout Session #1 – The Cisco Real Estate Digital Transformation Journey

Cisco has been hybrid for over 15 years and the pandemic allowed us to accelerate our own RE digital transformation journey. This session will share what trends, uses cases and outcomes are setting the strategic direction for your own RE estate strategy. Brian joined Cisco with extensive experience working with CRE, A&D and Construction during his tenure at Steelcase. Today, he is helping CRE on their real estate digital transformation journey by utilizing the power of an OT or IT network to address critical space outcomes, including user experience, wellbeing, net-zero and real time data and insights around space behavior and optimization.

	Ted Marchildon, VP, Business Partnership & Strategy at Fidelity Investments will be leading this session. Ted has been at Fidelity since 2011, working in both their finance and real estate groups.  Since 2020, Ted has been helping evolve the firm’s office re-entry strategy and the implications that this strategy will have on the firm’s real estate portfolio.
