3/23/22 -- Putting the “Net” back in CoreNet
What an event?! We had a sold out event with record breaking attendance at the Award winning Honeywell HQ in Charlotte, NC. After a tour of the amazing space, everyone enjoyed drinks, appetizers and were entertained by the live band “No Clue” playing.
3/10/22 -- Mega Event
Imaginative Collaboration was the focus of this year’s event. Duncan Wardle lead the event with an interactive and dynamic keynote on Innovation and Creativity. The chapter celebrated the first Mega Event since Covid with a sold out attendance. The CoreNet Young Leaders had a great evening at the Annual Corn Hole Tournament. The event at the Smoky Hollow Courtyard hosted over 30 industry individuals including end users, vendors, and young leaders. Big thank you to Johnson County Corn Hole for donating the grand prize: a set of custom cornhole boards. We hope to see you again next year!

We had a great list of mentors who met with our young leaders and guests and shared more on their role, their organization, and their pathway into corporate real estate. What a great turnout and event at A Night at the Ballpark in Winston Salem. Our Triad group and colleagues joined together for a fun night of baseball, networking and being back in person! Go Dash!
With a great discussion lead by Ben Bailey, JLL, Teri Canada, Evoke Studio and Andre Johnson, Andre Johnson Architects our first in person Diversity and Inclusion Program was a huge success. Our attendees heard timely discussion from our panelists on how diversity can be included into the new workplace design.

Our first South Carolina in person event was a wonderful chance for our members and guests to experience CoreNet at its finest. We had a successful event with over 30 attendees networking and play the 3’s Golf Club in Greenville, South Carolina.
A big thank you to our speakers John Hughes, Steelcase and David Heath, DPR Construction as they detailed insight into navigating an unpredictable construction industry and an evolved workplace. All attendees had the opportunity for great discussion with our speakers with several breakouts.

Great discussion was had by our panelists, Kalen Stanton and Leslie Colucci, as they dug into the healthcare experience, investigating what things are perpetuating the need of change, what changes are currently in the landscape and on the horizon and how we are pivoting.
We appreciate all of those who joined this record-breaking registration and attendance event. We had close to 100 attendees join our event to hear from our panel of leaders, how they have handled the challenge, understand their successes and struggles. Great conversations were had during our networking sessions before the program began.

The chapter held a successful and informative program where a panel of healthcare professionals in the Carolinas discussed the latest trends within the industry as it relates to real estate design and strategy in a new and ever-changing environment. Insight on “The Well Standard” and its impact on the future of healthcare design and construction was shared as well as great discussion after the event.
We appreciate all who joined us at this great educational program. We heard from two great panelists Paul Read, Epic Games and Larry Charlip, T2 discuss their world of gaming and CRE. Thank you to Hunter Fleshood for moderating the program. Not only did we hear from these two great CRE leaders, but we also had some great networking before the event as well.
