Thank you to everyone who was able to join the Carolinas Chapter of CoreNet Global for this incredible, SOLD OUT Black History Month event. Attendees heard from some of Charlotte's African American icons as they discuss the evolution of their participation in Charlotte real estate, honor the contributions of African Americans in Charlotte, and discuss areas of opportunity.

1/19/23 -- 2023 CORE Awards
The chapter held the 7th Annual CORE Awards to honor individuals, projects and programs that are Changing the Carolinas! Over 260 attendees gathered at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte for an evening of celebration and networking. The CORE Awards celebrates the professional successes and contributions of CoreNet members, leaders and constituents in the corporate real estate industry in the Carolinas region.

9/15/22 -- L&D: Looking Back to Look Ahead: Learning from a Futurist
Thank you to those who joined us in Charlotte and Raleigh for the live viewing of trendsetter and futurist, Richard Van Hooijdonk, as he spoke at the Amsterdam Summit. He focused on trends such as how we will live and work in the future of tomorrow, before marrying these concepts to leadership, skills, and the importance of listening to and mentoring the younger generations.
9/8/22 -- Changes in Uptown! An Inside Look at the Truist and Duke Energy Projects
We were given insight into two of Charlotte’s most talked about corporate real estate changes in uptown. Truly, two incredible projects that not only have impacted the skyline but our community. The panelists shared how each company was purposeful in their community art integration and planning for the buildings in charlotte’s uptown neighborhood.

The CoreNet Charlotte Membership committee hosted our second new member mixer. It was a great happy hour for our newest members, mixing and mingling to enhance further the strong connections with our members. It was a wonderful blend of end users and service providers from all experience levels. We are thrilled about all our new members and look forward to building lasting relationships. What an event?! We had a sold out event with record breaking attendance at the Award winning Honeywell HQ in Charlotte, NC. After a tour of the amazing space, everyone enjoyed drinks, appetizers and were entertained by the live band “No Clue” playing.

Imaginative Collaboration was the focus of this year’s event. Duncan Wardle lead the event with an interactive and dynamic keynote on Innovation and Creativity. The chapter celebrated the first Mega Event since Covid with a sold out attendance. The CoreNet Young Leaders had a great evening at the Annual Corn Hole Tournament. The event at the Smoky Hollow Courtyard hosted over 30 industry individuals including end users, vendors, and young leaders. With a great discussion lead by Ben Bailey, JLL, Teri Canada, Evoke Studio and Andre Johnson, Andre Johnson Architects our first in person Diversity and Inclusion Program was a huge success. Our attendees heard timely discussion from our panelists on how diversity can be included into the new workplace design.

Our first South Carolina in person event was a wonderful chance for our members and guests to experience CoreNet at its finest. We had a successful event with over 30 attendees networking and play the 3’s Golf Club in Greenville, South Carolina.
A big thank you to our speakers John Hughes, Steelcase and David Heath, DPR Construction as they detailed insight into navigating an unpredictable construction industry and an evolved workplace. All attendees had the opportunity for great discussion with our speakers with several breakouts.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Chapter's first in person event of 2021! We had an amazing time networking with friends and colleagues we haven't seen in a very long time. It was a great event at a great location, El Thrifty CLT.
Great discussion was had by our panelists, Kalen Stanton and Leslie Colucci, as they dug into the healthcare experience, investigating what things are perpetuating the need of change, what changes are currently in the landscape and on the horizon and how we are pivoting.
We appreciate all of those who joined this record-breaking registration and attendance event. We had close to 100 attendees join our event to hear from our panel of leaders, how they have handled the challenge, understand their successes and struggles. Great conversations were had during our networking sessions before the program began.

The chapter held a successful and informative program where a panel of healthcare professionals in the Carolinas discussed the latest trends within the industry as it relates to real estate design and strategy in a new and ever-changing environment. Insight on “The Well Standard” and its impact on the future of healthcare design and construction was shared as well as great discussion after the event.
We appreciate all who joined us at this great educational program. We heard from two great panelists Paul Read, Epic Games and Larry Charlip, T2 discuss their world of gaming and CRE. Thank you to Hunter Fleshood for moderating the program. Not only did we hear from these two great CRE leaders, but we also had some great networking before the event as well.
