Thank you to the 200 members and non-members who gathered for the 2022 Mega Event at the JW Marriott in uptown Charlotte for Exit Stage Left…Adapting Your Leadership Strategy. Our keynote speaker, Robin Hill-Emmons delivered a thought provoking address challenging the audience, as leaders, to understand that you CAN do GOOD while making MONEY. If you missed this year’s Mega Event be sure to make next year’s a priority!

9/15/22 -- L&D: Looking Back to Look Ahead: Learning from a Futurist
Thank you to those who joined us in Charlotte and Raleigh for the live viewing of trendsetter and futurist, Richard Van Hooijdonk, as he spoke at the Amsterdam Summit. He focused on trends such as how we will live and work in the future of tomorrow, before marrying these concepts to leadership, skills, and the importance of listening to and mentoring the younger generations.
9/8/22 -- Changes in Uptown! An Inside Look at the Truist and Duke Energy Projects
We were given insight into two of Charlotte’s most talked about corporate real estate changes in uptown. Truly, two incredible projects that not only have impacted the skyline but our community. The panelists shared how each company was purposeful in their community art integration and planning for the buildings in charlotte’s uptown neighborhood.
8/31/22 -- Charlotte New Member Mixer
The CoreNet Charlotte Membership committee hosted our second new member mixer. It was a great happy hour for our newest members, mixing and mingling to enhance further the strong connections with our members. It was a wonderful blend of end users and service providers from all experience levels. We are thrilled about all our new members and look forward to building lasting relationships. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Diversity and Inclusion event at the end of July. We had a great turnout of attendees and we are so thankful for their commitment and interest in the chapter. It was an inspiring event with a lot of networking and connecting.

Dustin Jackson, PhD, and Sr. Manager for Workplace Strategy at Charter Communications, Chris LaPata, MCR held an engaging workshop where Dr. Jackson shared his research around human being’s 8 Primal Needs and how employers can address these needs through organizational culture, work policy, and the work environment.

3/23/22 -- Putting the “Net” back in CoreNet
What an event?! We had a sold out event with record breaking attendance at the Award winning Honeywell HQ in Charlotte, NC. After a tour of the amazing space, everyone enjoyed drinks, appetizers and were entertained by the live band “No Clue” playing.
3/10/22 -- Mega Event
Imaginative Collaboration was the focus of this year’s event. Duncan Wardle lead the event with an interactive and dynamic keynote on Innovation and Creativity. The chapter celebrated the first Mega Event since Covid with a sold out attendance. Thank you to Duncan, all breakout sessions speakers and all of those who were in attendance to make this such a successful event.

The CoreNet Young Leaders had a great evening at the Annual Corn Hole Tournament. The event at the Smoky Hollow Courtyard hosted over 30 industry individuals including end users, vendors, and young leaders. Big thank you to Johnson County Corn Hole for donating the grand prize: a set of custom cornhole boards. We hope to see you again next year!
