Join the Young Leaders and University Relations for a sponsored event and networking!  The Reverse Mentoring event is intended to offer non-millennials perspective into the millennial mindset in the workplace.  A panel of five different professionals with different specialties offer unique perspectives into workplace needs.  Attendance from all age groups is encouraged!

Conor Brennan –Associate Broker – JLL
Conor Brennan is an Associate Broker at JLL, where he joined the brokerage team in early 2014. JLL is a full service Commercial Real Estate firm, representing tenants, landlords, offering project management services, and many other specialties. Conor is part of the Office Tenant Representation team and helps tenants secure office space in the Carolinas. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado (Go Broncos!), Conor moved to North Carolina to attend college at NC State University where he majored in Communication and graduated in 2012. While at NC State, Conor was Captain of the Men’s Swim and Dive Team. Conor enjoys spending time with friends and family, and exploring the Charlotte region during his free time.

 

Drew Cajka – End User – Summus Group
Drew Cajka is a Senior Consultant with Summus Group – a company that provides end to end management consulting with a primary focus on financial institutions – where he began working with the team in 2014. He has previous experience in the financial sector, having worked at Ally Bank as an intern and later a Senior Project Analyst. Drew graduated in 2011 from Clemson University with a degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting. His current company, Summus Group, is moving their headquarters to a building off of West Morehead and Drew has been a key player in the decisions regarding real estate, vendors, and budgeting. Although he was born in Nashville, Tennessee, Drew spent most of his childhood in Greenville, South Carolina and moved to Charlotte in 2011. Drew enjoys the active lifestyle that Charlotte offers especially golf, hockey, and climbing.

 

Rad Hudson – Civil Engineer & Student – UNC Charlotte
Rad Hudson is a Civil Engineer and Branch Manager for American Structurepoint’s Charlotte Office while also pursuing his Master of Science in Real Estate at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business with an anticipated graduation in 2017. At American Structurepoint, Rad is involved with site civil design and permitting for real estate development projects where he has worked for the past two years. Rad has past experience with Kimley-Horn and Associates as a civil engineer where he began working as a Civil Engineer in 2008 directly after undergraduate. His undergraduate degree was earned at the University of Kentucky in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, Rad moved to Charlotte in 2008 to pursue a career in Civil Engineering. Rad is an extensive runner and enjoys traveling and being outdoors.

 

Sarah-Ashley Boling – Senior Project Engineer – Balfour Beatty Construction
Sarah-Ashley (McCall) Boling is a native of Alabama and graduate from Auburn University’s Building Science program in 2011. Following graduation, she moved to Charlotte to work on medical and multi-family construction projects with JE Dunn for the next three years.  Continuing her work with high-rise construction, Sarah-Ashley joined Balfour Beatty Construction as a Senior Project Engineer in 2014 to start work on the 300 South Tryon block project for client Spectrum Properties. Sarah-Ashley handles the structure, skin, and interior packages for the office tower and parking podium portion of the project. In her spare time Sarah-Ashley continues her love of sports, taking up golf and sporting clays and continues to play softball with Balfour Beatty’s softball team

 

Whitlie Galloway – Account Executive – Office Environments
Whitlie Galloway is an Account Executive for Office Environments, the largest Steelcase dealer in the Southeast, where she joined the sales team in April 2015. She handles account management as well as business development in the Charlotte metro area. She hails from South Bend, Indiana with a 5-year stent in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Whitlie graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Relations in Grand Rapids. She interned at Steelcase in marketing during college and then moved up within marketing and product development during her 5-year tenure, until moving to a Steelcase dealership in Charlotte. Whitlie moved to Charlotte for family and the beautiful weather, as well as career opportunities in Charlotte’s vibrant market.
