NEW - Design Competition

Post-COVID Office Design, Technology, and Employee Experience Competition

As we start to plan for a post-COVID world with new ways of working, CoreNet Carolinas would like to advance thinking of future office design through showcasing chapter talent and thought leadership.

All teams have been registered. 

Teams of 2-5 people, of which at least one person must be a CoreNet member, all of whom must work in the Carolinas, have shared their vision in one of three categories:

  • Design
  • Technology
  • Employee experience

We encouraged teams to be from different companies, partnering to develop a shared vision.

This will be a judged competition, with a winner and runner-up team in each category.  Teams have included in their submissions:

  • A Design statement
  • Idea board of what the new office will look like in 2022 and beyond, focusing on the category of choice (design, technology, or employee experience)
  • 1-2 highlighted solutions in more depth
  • Can include words, existing images, and/or original drawings and diagrams


The winner and runner up in each category will be featured during the virtual program where we will play the videos of each of these teams on Thursday, March 11, from 11:30am-1pm.  There will be in-meeting audience voting of a super-winner best in show based on the most inspiring of these 6 presentations.


Videos of all submissions will be made available after the event and will be featured in Chapter social media channels, with special attention to the winners.
