The Legacy Award was created to honor the outstanding contributions of our former board members who have played a pivotal role in shaping our community. This award celebrates the visionaries who laid the foundation for our chapter's success and serves to inspire the leaders of tomorrow. This recognition reflects Lamonte's hard work, dedication, and visionary leadership that have propelled us to the forefront of our global organization as a member of the Executive Board for CoreNet Global.
The RTI Solar Parking Canopy project at RTI International acts as a catalyst for sustainability, innovation, and the employee and client experience of working with RTI. This groundbreaking project transformed an underutilized parking area into a beautiful renewable energy source by assembling nearly 500 solar energy panels into a 14,000 square foot canopy, providing shade and shelter to more than 50 parking spaces and powering 20 to 25% of the electricity for RTI’s flagship Holden Building.
Bandwidth, a technology company founded and based in Raleigh, North Carolina, outlined a mission to create a bespoke campus designed to meet their needs. Proudly rooted in the Triangle region, Bandwidth began in Raleigh and remains committed to its hometown. The 22-acre campus caters to the whole person, celebrating who Bandwidth is and what they do - supporting people to lead full and meaningful lives. Designed with the capacity to accommodate 2,000 employees, the campus currently serves 1,000 employees at completion, with ample room for future growth.
The SAFEchild Children’s Advocacy Center takes a monumental step towards eliminating child abuse in Wake County. The new 20,000 SF facility unites staff and programs with a design that promotes safety and security as an extension of the organization’s values. Instead of designing the expected – an institutional building - the team’s goal was to design a home for the organization that did not lose sight of its roots and place within the community as a safe space. The SAFEchild project posed a unique opportunity to design a place of safety, a place of respect, and a place of support – drivers which became fundamental for each design decision and capture the spirit of the new Center.
